These User Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between LeagueLinkd LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("LeagueLinkd," "we," "us," or "our"), and you, the individual user of the LeagueLinkd mobile application and website at leaguelinkd.com (collectively, the "platform"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the platform. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
These Terms apply to all users including league administrators, coaches, guardians, and players.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you affirmatively represent and warrant that you are 18 or older through an explicit age attestation at signup, and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. We do not collect or retain your date of birth as part of account registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting privacy@leaguelinkd.com or by using the deletion option in your account settings. When you submit a deletion request, you will receive an email confirmation and your account enters a 30-day waiting period before deletion is processed. You may cancel the deletion request at any time during the 30-day period by emailing privacy@leaguelinkd.com.
After the 30-day waiting period elapses, your account is anonymized: personal information is removed from your profile, your authored messages remain in their original conversations with author attribution removed, and any associated player profiles are permanently deleted. Transaction records are retained as required by law and for legitimate business necessity (financial recordkeeping and tax compliance).

By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of this information as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy (Version 1.3 or later). The Privacy Policy provides comprehensive detail on the categories of data collected, how it is used, retention periods, and your rights regarding your information.
The platform is designed exclusively for adults who manage youth sports activities. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 18.
Player profiles for minor children are created and managed exclusively by a parent or legal guardian acting within their own authenticated adult account. By creating a player profile, you warrant that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child (or otherwise have legal authority to provide information about the child) and that you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

User data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We employ reasonable technical measures to protect your data; however, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

By creating an account, you consent to receive communications from LeagueLinkd and your affiliated leagues, including:
You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. Certain transactional communications (such as account verification, password resets, deletion confirmations, and legal notices) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
By uploading content to the platform, you grant LeagueLinkd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works of that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the platform services. This license includes the right to resize images, generate thumbnails, transcode media, and adapt content for display across different devices and screen sizes. This license terminates when your content is deleted from the platform, except where retention is required by law.
Guardians who upload photos of minor players warrant they have the legal right to share those images. LeagueLinkd will not use images of minors for marketing or promotional purposes without express written consent.
You agree not to upload content that:
LeagueLinkd respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe that content on the platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to our designated copyright agent at admin@leaguelinkd.com. Your notice must include: (a) a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location on the platform; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner; (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.
LeagueLinkd will respond to valid DMCA notices and may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.
Certain features, including league registration, may require payment. All fees are displayed prior to purchase. By completing a payment, you authorize the applicable charge to your selected payment method.
Registration fees collected on behalf of a league are subject to that league's refund policy. LeagueLinkd acts as a payment facilitator and is not responsible for issuing refunds of league registration fees. Contact your league administrator for registration refund requests.
All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment processors. LeagueLinkd does not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
All users are expected to conduct themselves respectfully. You agree not to:
Platform messaging features are provided for legitimate league communication. Sending spam, unsolicited messages, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in account suspension or termination, content removal, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.
LeagueLinkd does not perform background checks, identity verification, or child safety screening on any user, including league administrators, coaches, assistant coaches, or other volunteers. LeagueLinkd's platform does not constitute an endorsement or verification of any user's fitness to work with minors.
Background screening, child safety vetting, and volunteer credentialing are the sole responsibility of the league organization and its governing body. If you have concerns about any individual's authorization or fitness to interact with children, contact your league administrator directly.
LeagueLinkd provides in-app tools to report inappropriate messages, block other users, and escalate safety concerns. These tools are described below.

Routing of Reports. Most reports are routed to your league administrator for review and triage, because the league administrator has the local context needed to evaluate community disputes. Reports involving threats, child safety concerns, or impersonation are additionally routed to LeagueLinkd staff for independent review. The league administrator is the primary reviewer for all categories; LeagueLinkd serves as a safety net for high-severity items.
Mandatory Reporting. Filing a report through LeagueLinkd does not satisfy any independent legal duty you may have to report suspected child abuse or neglect to law enforcement or child protective services. Many adults involved in youth sports — including coaches and league administrators — are mandated reporters under state law. If you suspect abuse or neglect of a minor, you must report it to the appropriate authorities directly, regardless of whether you also file a report through LeagueLinkd.
Records of Reports. Reports filed through our content moderation tools, administrative actions taken in response, and audit logs of moderation activity are retained for accountability and audit purposes as described in our Privacy Policy (Section 6), generally not exceeding seven (7) years from the date of the underlying event. The reported user is not provided with the content of reports filed about them. If you believe an administrative action against you was taken in error, you may contact support@leaguelinkd.com.
LeagueLinkd is a software platform for league management. It does not organize or supervise physical sporting activities and is not liable for any injuries or incidents that occur during league activities.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LeagueLinkd LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims arising out of your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
The LeagueLinkd name, logo, platform design, and all content created by LeagueLinkd are the exclusive property of LeagueLinkd LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You will not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices incorporated in or accompanying the platform. You are not conveyed any right or license in or under any patent, trademark, or proprietary right of LeagueLinkd except the limited right to use the platform as provided in these Terms.
The LeagueLinkd mobile application is made available through third-party app stores, including the Apple App Store and Google Play (each an "App Store"). You acknowledge and agree that:
LeagueLinkd may offer certain features, functionality, or services that are designated as beta, preview, early access, or similar ("Beta Services"). Beta Services are provided for testing and evaluation purposes and may not operate as expected or at the level of our generally available services. By using Beta Services, you acknowledge and agree that:
LeagueLinkd reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email. If we make material changes, you will be required to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the platform. Continued use of the platform after acceptance constitutes your agreement to be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the platform and may request account deletion.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform, you and LeagueLinkd agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation for a period of not less than thirty (30) days following written notice of the dispute to support@leaguelinkd.com.
If good faith negotiation does not resolve the dispute, the parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation administered by a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Salt Lake County, Utah. The costs of mediation shall be shared equally by the parties.
If mediation does not resolve the dispute within sixty (60) days of commencing, any remaining dispute shall be resolved through litigation in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Salt Lake County, Utah. You and LeagueLinkd consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in Salt Lake County, Utah. The prevailing party in any such action shall be entitled to recover its reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.
Nothing in this Section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, including but not limited to protection of intellectual property rights or confidential information.
LeagueLinkd shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, epidemics, infrastructure failures, internet or power outages, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
You may not assign, subcontract, delegate, or otherwise transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without LeagueLinkd's prior written consent, and any attempted assignment in violation of the foregoing will be null and void. LeagueLinkd may freely assign these Terms and its rights and obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, to any successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of substantially all of its assets, without your consent or notice.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable Organization Terms and Conditions, constitute the entire agreement between you and LeagueLinkd with respect to your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations, whether written or oral.
The failure of LeagueLinkd to enforce any provision of these Terms on one occasion shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision or of the right to enforce it on any other occasion.
